We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers install applications and programs. Technical Support Engineer responsibilities include resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support. You will use email and chat applications to give clients quick answers to simple IT issues. For more complex problems that require nuanced instruction, you will contact clients via phone and/or provide clear, written instructions and technical manuals. Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems. Description: * Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues * Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration * Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem * Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits * Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue * Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers) * Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers * Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions * Ensure all issues are properly logged * Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time * Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting * Prepare accurate and timely reports * Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals * Maintain jovial relationships with clients

* Learn how to build a chatbot using Kata Platform (Bot Studio). * Learn to train NLP using Kata Platform (NL Studio). * On bot design improvement: Optimizing existing features and/or recommending new features in the chatbot, pay attention to the outcome (e.g. engagement rate, average session/user). * On NL improvement: Optimizing existing NL set, dictionary, the vocabulary of the chatbot. Outcome: confidence rate and performance of the chatbot (e.g. minimize monthly fallback/'dunno' intents). * Mastering Conversation Design & Persona Design, you may need to present your recommendation to the internal Kata team, or clients as well.

Technical writers communicate complex information clearly, concisely and accurately, and without relying on jargon. As a technical writer, your role involves tasks such as writing conceptual overviews and procedures, reading and writing example code, or updating help center queries and FAQs. Technical writers play a big part at Kata. They are a key link between engineers, marketing associates, developer advocates, as well as all the external users and developers, tying together many vital but disparate parts of the Kata ecosystem. What will you do: * Write technical documentation for our external developer audience, such as API reference docs and developer guides for building our intelligent chatbots * Design and organize documentation sets for new bot tutorials, APIs and developer products * Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others, and coach non-writers on ways to improve their writing skills * Manage complex documentation projects * Supplement developer documentation with relevant sample code
